Dr. Chapman was born in Carrollton, GA and grew up near Jonesboro, GA. He graduated from UGA College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987, and promptly moved to Eatonton with his wife, Susan. They quickly grew to love the lake area and realized that the Briarpatch is where they wanted their family to call home. They have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Anna Chapman, DVM
Dr. Anna is Dr. Mike Chapman's second daughter. She graduated from UGA CVM in May 2021. Dr. Anna was born and raised in Eatonton, GA and is excited to be back in the lake area to practice small animal medicine alongside her father. She has a Golden Retriever named Charlie.

Mallory enjoys being around all animals. She spends most of her time outside, loves being on the lake or hiking. She has a Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Gus who also loves the lake!
